UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres urged the conflicting parties around the globe to halt armed battles to control the COVID-19 outbreak.

He made appeal to silence all the guns and stop airstrikes and artillery attacks so that world can focus on the coronavirus.
He said a global ceasefire can help humanitarian corridors where aid can be sent to those who are in urgent need of them.
Almost all the countries in the world have now reported at least one coronavirus patient. And, the number of cases have now surged past 350,000 with the death toll hitting 15,000.
