Health Minister of France said people will still need to wear masks and maintain social distancing, even after being administrated with the long-awaited vaccine. France will commence administering the vaccine against the raging coronavirus, starting from the end of December.
Health Minister Olivier Veran also said that it is still not certain whether the vaccine will be 100 per cent successful, and that it will allow the societies to go back to what it was before the coronavirus started spreading across the world.
He has based his opinion on scientific findings that the virus keeps on evolving and that there are a number of different strains found in different parts of the world. Therefore, it cannot be assured for certain how much the vaccine will be successful in completely eradicating the virus from the world.
France has the highest number of virus cases in Europe. And, they will be one of the first countries in the region to start administering the vaccine against the coronavirus.
