Health authorities have warned that the vaccine developed by Pfizer/BioNTech against the coronavirus may cause allergic reactions among those who have a history of significant allergic reaction.
This came after two National Health Service workers developed allergic reactions after being administrated with the vaccine.
The advisory does not ally to all. But, those who have previously experienced reactions to different food types, medicines or vaccines should be cautious when getting the vaccine.
The two NHS workers who had developed allergic reactions already received treatments and are doing fine now.
Once the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine was administered the two NHS workers had displayed symptoms such as breathlessness, skin rash and a drop in blood pressure. None of these were life-threatening.
